QVC always takes care of the compliance of the advertising message, which is checked by the Advertising Compliance team.
In this document you will find the guidelines to follow to present your products in an excellent and correct way.

Commercial communication (TV, website, social media) is subject to several laws:
QVC is committed in ensuring that advertising is correct to maintain customers trust and advertising compliance. The Advertising Compliance team is dedicated to guarantee commercial communication that always respects the standards. Violations can result in penalties of up to 10 million Euros.
Also Vendors and Guests are contractually obliged to meet the mentioned compliance requirements.
To confer special, distinctive, superiority features or attribute a special efficacy and performance to the product, QVC’s approval is required.
To do so, we require to fill in the Claim Form, the document in which you Vendor can list the product claims you wish to communicate on-air and on QVC Italia’s website.
Only claims approved by QVC will be presented on-air and online.

Approval is not required for immediately recognisable effects that do not require testing or other supporting evidences (e.g. good fragrance, soft fabric) and for activities that are generally accepted by scientific opinion (e.g. hydrating efficacy of moisturisers).
